WHAT IS STEM? STEM is a shortening of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). STEM education system is technically applied in our country since primary school age. However, as a popular education system that has spread from the USA since 2011, its name has been recruited as STEM and it has started to be implemented in many schools in the world (there are schools that implement the education system with the same name in our country). Thanks to this system, it is aimed to take the courses such as Science and Mathematics to the students from the memorization system, to develop the applicability of the information in real life and the development of problem solving techniques / methods, and to emphasize the curiosity, research and creativity features. Thanks to the advancing technologies and mobile phones, televisions, computers and robotic systems used in the digitalized world, the need / demand for digital professions is increasing day by day. These STEM trainings are offered between 1-12 years so that students who can analyze, produce and use these systems can receive more comfortable education in universities. With this education system, it was aimed to adapt to the professions of the future more easily and to eliminate professional concerns.
